Proxy wars are the norm in modern skirmishes. Nothing has changed from a petro-dollar standpoint since anyone posting has been alive. All of it is traded in dollars in exchange for security.

Culturally, there's no question about difference in opinion; most of that difference is religiously motivated and heavily artificially imposed. I have long stood by in defense of the people of Iran, after watching all of you brave people stand up and fight for your freedoms in ways that put Americans to shame. While I can on some level understand Israel wanting to 1) prevent a hostile government from getting their hands on a nuclear device and 2) being extremely angry with IRGC for their international terror connections and set ups in Hezbollah and Hamas, they are ultimately the escalators in this situation, killed innocent civilians who have expressed a general consensus for wanting to be part of the wider world, and have just shown the world they *could* have been far, far more careful in their war against Gaza. 

I'm absolutely ashamed we (the US) sent Israel everything (training, equipment, ammo) that should be going to Ukraine. They should have been cut off as soon as they entered Rafah at the very least (arguably any large force in Gaza, as Netanyahu appears to have deliberately lowered readiness to allow the October 7th attacks to happen). I don't like regime in Iran, but anyway I don't like regime in any country including my country, but nation are for me different. As person from war-torn country I just imagine how people are traumatic now : hopeless, afraid , grief. 


I don't think any nations want to have war in own country or with other countries. Problem is who decide to have war they are not effected much. Their property is safe or will repaired fast. The reality is that even though the world is not normal and is broken, God doesn't ask us to walk around begging for the end times (if that's even a thing). We should move through life with joy knowing what we know. If your stepfather is in such a dark place that he thinks it is time for God to call it, that is not someone you want to get your religious beliefs from. 


Bind yourself to Jesus, and listen to *his* words not the words of anyone else. Jesus wants to save as many people as possible. I hardly think he's done with that yet. The church I attend grows every week. Jesus isnt done with us yet. Great is his faithfulness. 


So don't listen to the words of men (or women). We know nothing.

Every generation of Christians since the very first have thought that they were in the end times. And we are. It's just that the end times are turning out longer than were anticipated by the apostles.

China and Russia have no interest in attacking Israel... and the only reason Iran would is because Israel keeps attacking them.  Israel just attacked Iran again 2 days ago.

The people of the world need to stop voting in evil leaders and protesting against them where possible. The US, Israel, russia and China all have awful leaders at this point in time.

I had a nightmare last night that the bombs started falling and I felt absolute dread for my wife and children. I woke up and had to check the news to make sure everything was ok.
